What you would love about this tiny humidifier is that it is silent when you run it. You can even put is next to your ear and you would not be bothered with any boiling sound or water spurting.
This makes the Germ Guardian a humidifier convenient to be used in the officer or even placed on your nightstand.
It apparently uses the Nano-Silver technology, which means it stops mold and bacteria growing in the tanks, so you can humidify clean water and the air remains clean for breathing.
The Germ Guardian H1000 emits cool mist and it is ideal for houses that are dry especially in hot weathered area. It is able to produce about 8 to 12 hours of moisture for a small area.
It is also very easy to maintain as mentioned in the product description, there is no need to replace or clean evaporating pads, filters or wicks.
I guess it is all been taken care by the Nano-Silver technology. It doesn’t leak and it’s easy to fill up in the bathroom sink.
For some people that is a major plus point as most humidifier’s tank is hard to fill and if you have a big humidifier, you will need a hose just to fill it up.
The unit does not have a great safety feature as it does get warm after a while and does not turn itself off when empty.
The Germ Guardian H1000 however does have a light inside which makes the unit glow a very pretty blue which is a great night light. But to some the blue glow could be annoying to some people and it gets a little getting used to.
